Hello guys, here I am again with my sunday post!
In the latter weeks, we really played a lot of descent. We have just a couple spare hours at night, so pur campaign slowly moved on, but we reached now the Twin Idols. We did encounter 1 and me , the OL devil won that, but heroes got a bit lucky on travel cards so they picked up like 200 gold (they got the travel card which makes em get a search card if they pass the prove,and so on) which is a huge amount shake

Now we got into pt 2 i would really appreciate some advices, since i guess that if i lose this, i'm gonna have a really bad time for the final 2! I won the first encounter so i will be the one who start the game in the second encounter. Here comes the doubt: First, encounter states that heroes can be placed in tile 12A; this means they can place their heroes wherever in the tile, like monsters? That would boost their first turn a lot since they could avoid the water squares.

About the strategy, since they do really a lot of damage(runemaster and berserker) , move a lot of points (quellen and jaine fairwood),and have a healer (damn Alric) i really can't choose the best strategy. Should I just try to get in and steal the idol(i guess they can delete zombies really fast), or should i freeze and draw until they approach me?

My OL deck is made by basic cards(except poison dart), 2x spider web, evil never rest (Lair of the wyrm punisher card) and Monkey God Curse(i regret this).

About monsters i guess the best choose for the open group is ettins, since i only have base game and lair of the wyrm.

So... any advice?
