I'm starting to feel like I'm not playing this game right. During the course of the game, I've had 1 victory, and 2 losses so far. (I won 'A Fat Goblin' because the Heroes forgot about diagonal movement even if there are walls)

I'm playing a 3P Campaign with a couple friends. They've got A Disciple, a Knight and a Wildlander, and are using the 'Generic' Heroes for each of them (For Example, Jain as the Wildlander instead of Tomble). They managed to get the Shield for the Knight and Since then, It's been almost impossible to down them.

When I reached the Interlude with the River, they just passed the Casket to the Knight, (Who had 1 Grey Die, 2 Brown Die, and an Additional Brown Die if the Disciple healed him) and they just wouldn't go down. The only time I managed to knock one of them out is when I used both my Lieutenant to Move the Hero beside my Ettin, then use my Ettin to toss him away further, Blocking him away from the Rest of the Group. Mind you, who I pulled was the Healer, who I proceeded to smash face with, drawing 1 card per knockdown. (Which was promptly discarded each turn by the Wildlander's Danger Sense.) Using a few minions to split the Healer from the Group, I went to town on the other two... Only to Find out that even without the healer, I couldn't drop the tank who had both Shield Mastery, Leather Armor and the Relic Shield.

Will Act 2 be brighter for me? Somehow, I'm leaning on a Hard no. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? (Most likely Monster Choices) Or is the tactic of the Heroes really airtight?
