Our group is going to be playing the Overlord Revealed Interlude tomorrow, and I glanced at it last week. I noticed I'd need to pick 3 open groups.

So I'm asking for some advice--we are using the Conversion Kit, so there's a ton of options. I don't have the quest in front of me, because it's not my copy, but I don't want to spend a half hour trying to figure out some good monsters to choose to make the quest challenging for the heroes tomorrow.

So can anyone give me some ideas for which monster groups would be most effective? The party has a warrior who has almost 20 HP and can bring the pain, a cleric guy who stuns with his hammer on a surge with the Mana Weave (this really screwed my Lt. over in the Masquerade Ball--not sure what I can ever really do about it), a necromancer with the exploding zombie, and a thief who can move twice and attack as her special feat.

I really think picking the open groups is the most important decision the OL makes, especially in a quest where the only assigned one is a Lt, so I'd like to make a good decision without taking up a lot of time at the table.

What have other OLs gone with, and how did that work out?
