So my group is running through a first time campaign, all of us have the same amount of experience with the game. As the host I've taken to playing the OL this time and I can't seem to pull out a win.

I'll break down what I'm facing.

Ulma Gemstone::Apothecary (Inky Substance, Concoction, Mana Weave shop item)

Jain Fairwood::Wildlander (Danger Sense, Bow Mastery, Crossbow, Aurium Mail)

Grisban the Thirsty::Berserker (Brute, Counter Attack)

High Mage Quellen::Geomancer (Stone Tongue, Earthen Anguish, Rune Plate, Immolation, Fortunas Dice)

So far my problem seems to be Quellen spending the early turns summoning stones and blowing them up with Immolation usually taking out 2-3 of my monsters before I even have a turn. And then a Grisban followup with counter attacks and potion support from Ulma.

Tonight we played the Gold Digger quest and they were able to down Valyndra before I was even able to do anything. I managed to damage 2 Miners before she was taken out. I had Harpy for the speed (plus Splig deck to help them out as well) and Bargheist to load them up on fatigue before they were able to get out of hand.

My OL deck is Basic I with Warlord but Jain seems to hit everything anyways so that hasn't had much impact.

We are going to play Castle Daerion and Shadow Vault next week and I'd like to pull out some wins heading into Act II.

Any advice?
