Thread: Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition):: Strategy:: Stunning Weapons and What to do with Geomancers

One of my players has a stunning weapon that constantly stops my big monsters, and the fact that the hero's can attack twice he always causes my big monster to merely be a big hulk of uselessness. I'm trying to figure out strategies to get around this, like using a large creature with reach and then placing smaller minions in front of him so that he can still attack but be protected from the stunning attack.

Any other suggestions

ALso I am having some serious problems dealing with the geomancer, which a friend begged me to bring it in from the expansion (because he's majoring in geology and drools over anything that has a crystalline form) yet not allow me to use expansion monsters. Mostly it has to do with the two rocks he can now summon and use at any time which get in the way and merely make it annoying and the game a bit drawn out as there are basically three players controlling five characters.
